While other options exist, digital camera files come it two main types: Jpeg and RAW.
If your camera does not offer RAW capabilities, then you will be shooting in Jpeg
mode. If you own a professional or semiprofessional camera that offers RAW
capabilities, then you need to determine whether the simplicity and smaller files size
or Jpeg suits your needs, or if you prefer the greater control of RAW images. Which
format you choose will effect the digital workflow you use with your images.
