GTIN Enable
Enables/Disables the ability to convert UPCE, UPCA, EAN8, and EAN13 labels into the GTIN
14‐character format.
NOTE
If add-on information is present on the base label prior to the
conversion taking place, the add-on information will be appended
to the converted GTIN barcode.
To set this feature:
1. Scan the Enter/Exit Programming Mode barcode at the top of the page.
2. Scan either the enable or disable barcode below. You’ll need to cover any unused bar‐
codes on this and the facing page to ensure that the scanner reads only the barcode

ou intend to scan.
3. Complete the programming sequence by scanning the Enter/Exit Programming Mode
bar
code.
