Service Port Mode
To program the Magellan 1500i using software utilities such as Scanalyzer, the unit must
first be placed into Service Port mode. There are two methods that can be used to accom‐
plish this. Hold the Scan Button
1. Unplug the unit if needed.
2. While holding down the Scan Button on the top of the unit, plug the scanner in.
3. Quickly release the button as soon as the light on the button illuminates. The scanner
will en
ter Service Port Mode.
