GTIN Enable
Enables/Disables the ability to convert UPCE, UPCA, EAN8, and EAN13 labels
into the GTIN 14-character format.
NOTE
If add-on information is present on the base label prior to the
c
onversion taking place, the add-on information will be appended
to the converted GTIN bar code.
To set this feature:
1. Scan the Enter/Exit Progr
amming Mode bar code.
2. Scan either the enable or disable bar code below. You’
ll need to cover any
unused bar codes on this and the facing page to ensure that the scanner
reads only the bar code you intend to scan.
3. Complete the programming sequence by
scanning the Enter/Exit Pro-
gramming Mode bar code.
