ABOUT THE READER
The Magellan™
900i Scanner is designed for small counter retail checkout environments
where there is a relatively high number of transactions with a fairly small number of items
per transaction. The scanner has a small footprint, allowing more room for item merchan-
dising of high margin impulse items clustered around the POS (Point of Sale).
The Magellan 900i uses intelligent illumination technology to optimize reading for a variety
of barcode scanner functions including automatic reading of barcodes from printed sur-
faces, mobile devices and image capture in variable contrast environments.
