UPC/EAN Minimum Segment Length
This feature specifies the minimum number of characters needed in a UPC/EAN segment in
order to be accepted for decoding.
To set this feature:
1. Scan the Enter/Exit Programming Mode barcode at the top of the page.
2. Scan the barcode for the desired setting below. You’ll need to cover any unused bar-
codes on this and the facing page to ensure that the scanner reads only the barcode
you intend to scan.
3. Complete the programming sequence by scanning the Enter/Exit Programming Mode
barcode.
UPC/EAN Minimum Segment Length = 5 Characters
UPC/EAN Minimum Segment Length = 6 Characters
UPC/EAN Minimum Segment Length = 7 Characters
UPC/EAN Minimum Segment Length = 8 Characters
UPC/EAN Minimum Segment Length = 9 Characters
