Scale Sentry Block Weight Transmission
This option enables or disables weight transmission to the host if a Scale Sentry event is active.
When enabled, this feature blocks the transmission of weight data to the host if Scale Sentry has
sensed an item or items overhanging the side(s) of the scale platter. Weight will be transmitted
when:
• Items are repositioned on the scale platter so as to move them towards the center and away
fr
om the edges.
• The Scale Sentry Override Button is pressed.
NOTE
The Scale Sentry Override Button must be enabled to perform this function
via the following feature, .
To set this feature:
1. Scan the ENTER/EXIT Programming Mode bar code.
2. Scan your selection from the bar codes below. You’ll need to cover any unused bar codes
on this and
the facing page to ensure that the scanner reads only the bar code you intend
to scan.
3. Complete the programming sequence by scanning
the ENTER/EXIT Programming
Mode bar code.
