Updating the BOSS-S1 controller
You can update controller rmware using Lifecycle Controller (LC), iDRAC, or UEFI shell. The controller rmware can be updated using
BOSS-S1 CLI and Dell Update Package (when booted to an operating system). You can download the latest DUP and BOSS-S1 CLI from
Dell.com/support.
Methods to update the BOSS-S1 rmware
The BOSS-S1 card rmware updates can be done using the following methods:
• Firmware update using operating system Dell Update Packages
• Firmware update using UEFI Shell
• Firmware update using BOSS-S1 CLI
• Firmware update using iDRAC
• Firmware update using Lifecycle Controller
