DIMM remove and replace
Depending on the storage configuration, the DD4400 system has three possible
memory configurations. The following table lists the memory capacity and the number
of DIMMs for each storage configuration.

DIMMs are not hot-swappable, and require a system shutdown.
If any components are not fully seated, the system may not boot upon
completion of the procedure. When installing a component into the system,
verify it is fully seated before proceeding to the next step.
Indications of a memory error
At the front of the system, check the left control panel Memory indicator as
described in Status LED Indicators.
