Prerequisites
Remove the base cover.
Procedure
1. Disconnect the fan cable from the system board.
2. Remove the two screws (M2.5x5) that secure the fan to the palm-rest and keyboard board assembly.
3. Remove the display cable from the routing guides on the fan.
4. Lift the fan off the palm-rest and keyboard board assembly.
