2. Enter service mode.
3. Remove the SIM card.
4. Remove the microSD card.
5. Remove the base cover.

The following images indicate the location of the M.2 2280 solid-state drive and provide a visual representation of the removal
procedure.
Steps
1. Remove the two screws (M2x3) that secures the M.2 2280 solid-state drive thermal plate to the system board.
2. Lift the M.2 2280 solid-state drive thermal plate off the system board.
3. Slide and remove the M.2 2280 solid-state drive from the solid-state drive slot on the system board.
