Next steps
1 Replace the following:
a Trusted Platform Module (TPM)
NOTE
: The TPM plug-in module is attached to the system board and cannot be removed. A replacement TPM plug-in
module will be provided for all system board replacements where a TPM plug-in module was installed.
b Mid drive tray (if applicable)
c Rear drive cage (if applicable)
d Integrated storage controller card
e All expansion card risers
f Processor and heat sink module
g Processor blanks (if applicable)
h Memory modules and memory module blanks
i Network daughter card
j Cooling fan assembly
k Air shroud
l Power supply unit(s)
2 Reconnect all cables to the system board.
NOTE
: Ensure that the cables inside the system are routed along the chassis wall and secured using the cable securing
bracket.
3 Follow the procedure listed in After working inside your system.
4 Ensure that you:
a If the Service Tag is not backed up in the backup ash device, enter the Service Tag manually. For more information, see the
Manually update the Service Tag section.
b Update the BIOS and iDRAC versions.
c Re-enable the Trusted Platform Module (TPM). For more information, see the Upgrading the Trusted Platform Module (TPM)
section.
5 Import your new or existing iDRAC Enterprise license.
