Next steps
1 If not installed, install the Trusted Platform Module (TPM). For information about how to install the TPM, see the Installing the Trusted
Platform Module section. For more information about the TPM, see the Trusted Platform Module section.
NOTE
: The TPM plug-in module that is once installed is attached to the system board and cannot be removed. In the
event of a system board replacement, a TPM plug-in module is provided along with the system board for all systems
that have a TPM.
2 Replace the following components:
a Air shroud
b Expansion card risers
c Processor heat sink module
d Memory modules
e OCP card
f Mezzanine card
g Linking board
3 Reconnect all cables to the system board.
NOTE
: Ensure that the cables inside the system are routed along the chassis wall and secured using the cable securing
bracket.
4 Follow the procedure that is listed in After working inside your system.
5 Ensure that you:
a Use the Easy Restore feature to restore the Service Tag. For more information, see the Restoring the Service Tag by using the
Easy Restore feature section.
b If the Service Tag is not backed up in the backup ash device, enter the Service Tag manually. For more information, see the
Restoring the Service Tag by using the Easy Restore feature section.
c Update the BIOS and iDRAC versions.
d Re-enable the Trusted Platform Module (TPM). For more information, see the Upgrading the Trusted Platform Module section.
6 Import your new or existing iDRAC Enterprise license.
