Removing the cooling fan blank
Prerequisites
1. Follow the safety guidelines listed in Safety instructions.
2. Follow the procedure listed in the Before working inside your system.
Steps
1. Press the release tab to disengage the blank from the cooling fan cage.
2. Lift the cooling fan blank out of the fan cage.

1. Install the cooling fan or replace the cooling fan blank.
Installing the cooling fan blank
Prerequisites
1. Follow the safety guidelines listed in Safety instructions.
2. Follow the procedure listed in the Before working inside your system.
Steps
1. Holding the release tab, insert the fan blank into the slots on the cooling fan cage.
2. Press the fan blank until it clicks into place.
