Next steps
1. Install the rear drive cage.
2. Connect all the cables to the backplane.
3. Install the drives in their original location.
4. Follow the procedure listed in After working inside your system on page 44.

Prerequisites
1. Follow the safety guidelines listed in the Safety instructions on page 43.
2. Follow the procedure listed in the Before working inside your system on page 44.
3. Remove the drives.
4. Remove the air shroud.
Steps
1. Using a Phillips #2 screwdriver, loosen the captive screws that secure the rear drive cage to the system.
2. Slide the rear drive cage towards the front of the system to disengage it from the system.
3. Remove the rear drive cage from the system.
