Installing the front bezel
Prerequisites
CAUTION: If the protective plastic strip is present on the front of the bezel, remove it before placing the system
into operation. Failure to remove the protective plastic strip will cause the system to overheat.
About this task
Refer to Installing the bezel on page 59 while performing this procedure.
NOTE: If the rack is equipped with a door on the front, the shelf ships with an EMI shield instead of a bezel.
Steps
1. If present, remove the protective plastic strip from the front of the bezel.
2. Align the bezel with the enclosure.
3. Gently push the bezel into place on the cabinet until it latches.
4. If the bezel has a key lock, lock the bezel with the provided key.
