6. Remove the securing strap by pulling up on the retaining key and pull the ratchet handle
upwards as needed, as shown in the following figure.

7. Carefully push the shelf off the lift arms/tray and into the cabinet.
CAUTION
Make sure to leave the lift under the chassis until the shelf is safely balanced
and secured within the cabinet.
8. If the shelf was depopulated before installation, repopulate the shelf as follows:
a. Reinstall the disk drives in the exact location from which they were removed.
b. Reinstall the Fan modules.
c. Slide the shelf into the cabinet.
d. From the rear of the cabinet, reinstall the power supplies and the link control cards
(LCCs) into the shelf.

The captive shoulder screws attach the shelf to the cabinet.
