Update drive rmware
Description
This command updates the rmware version of the specied drives by using the provided rmware le. This command also veries the
integrity of the rmware le before applying the rmware.

rmware
Parameter Description
-a
Species the adapter used for the command. This is either SAS
WWID or AdapterIndex.
-d
Species the HDD used for the command. This can be any of the
following:
• WWN—Can be used anytime.
• Serial Number—Can be used anytime.
• Drive OS path—Can be used anytime.
• Enclosure Slot Index—Use if drawer argument is not used for
the command.
• Drawer Slot Index (Index of the drive in the specic drawer)—
Use if drawer argument is used for the command.
• Enclosure Slot Index—Use if drawer argument is not being used
for the command.
-enc
Species the enclosure used for the command. This is either WWN
or EnclIndex.
-w
Species the drawer index used for the command.
-file
Species the le at the given path used for the command.
-h
Provides additional information about the command, description,
and usage.
-show
Display the list of drives that are updated by using the specied
rmware le. The drives are not updated if this option is used.
