Replacing the Hinge Cover



Removing the Hinge Cover

1. Follow the procedures in Before You Begin.

2. Remove the battery (see Removing the Battery).

3. Remove the two screws that secure the hinge cover to the computer base.

4. Use a plastic scribe to gently pry the hinge cover up.

5. Rotate to disengage the hinge cover tabs from the computer base.

