Replacing the display assembly

Procedure
1 Place the palm-rest assembly at the edge of the table.
2 Align the screw holes on the palm-rest assembly with the screw holes on the
display hinges.
3 Replace the three screws (M2.5x8) that secure the display hinges to the palm-
rest assembly.
4 Route the antenna cables through the routing guides on the palm-rest assembly.
5 Connect the display cable from the system board.
6 Close the latch that secures the display cable to the system board.
7 Adhere the tape that secures the display cable to the system board.
Post-requisites
1 Replace the wireless card.
2 Replace the base cover.
3 Replace the keyboard.
4 Replace the optical drive.
5 Replace the battery.
