Steps
1. Open the latch and disconnect the I/O-board cable from its connector on the system board.
2. Open the latch and disconnect the I/O-board cable from its connector on the I/O board.
3. Lift the I/O-board cable off the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
4. Open the latch and disconnect the optional fingerprint-reader cable from its connector on the I/O board.
NOTE: This step is only applicable to computers shipped with a fingerprint reader.
5. Remove the screw (M2x3) that secures the I/O board to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
6. Lift the I/O board off the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
