Procedure
1 Place the fan on the heat sink.
2 Adhere the tape that secures the fan cable to the heat-sink assembly.
3 Turn the heat-sink assembly over.
4 In sequential order, as indicated on the heat sink, tighten the captive screws
that secure the heat-sink assembly to the system board.
Post-requisites
1 Replace the heat-sink assembly.
2 Follow the procedure from step 3 to step 7 in “Replacing the base cover”.
3 Replace the keyboard.
4 Follow the procedure from step 4 to step 5 in “Replacing the optical drive”.
5 Replace the battery.
