Procedure
1 Place the touch pad on the palm-rest assembly.
2 Slide the tabs on the touch-pad bracket into the slots on the palm-rest
assembly.
3 Align the screw holes on the touch-pad bracket with the screw holes on the
palm-rest assembly.
4 Replace the screws that secure the touch-pad bracket to the palm-rest
assembly.
5 Adhere the tape over the touch-pad bracket.
6 Connect the touch-pad cable to the touch pad.
Post-requisites
1 Replace the system board.
2 Replace the heat-sink assembly.
3 Replace the IO board.
4 Replace the wireless card.
5 Replace the memory module.
6 Follow the procedure from step 3 to step 5 in “Replacing the hard drive”.
