3 Disconnect the coin-cell battery cable and the power and volume-
buttons board cable from the I/O board.
1 I/O-board cable 2 tape
3 latch 4 I/O board
5 coin-cell battery cable 6 power and volume-
buttons board cable
4 Remove the screws that secure the I/O board to the palm rest and
keyboard assembly.
