Prerequisites
1 Remove the optical drive (optional).
2 Remove the base cover.
3 Remove the fan.
Procedure
1 Remove the two screws (M2.5x5) that secure the left hinge to palm rest and
keyboard assembly.
NOTE: For computers shipped without optical drive, there is an
additional screw on the left hinge that secures the left hinge to palm
rest and keyboard assembly.
