Procedure
1. Align the screw holes on the touch pad with the screw holes on the palm-rest assembly.
2. Replace the four screws (M2x2 Big Head) that secure the touch pad to the palm-rest assembly.
3. Adhere the tapes that secure the touch-pad assembly to the palm-rest assembly.
4. Slide both ends of the touch-pad cable into their respective connectors and close the latches to secure the cable.
5. Adhere the status-light board cable to the touch-pad assembly.
6. Slide the status-light board cable in to the connector on the system board and close the latch to secure the cable.
Post-requisites
1. Replace the battery.
2. Replace the base cover.
