Prerequisites
1. Remove the base cover.
2. Remove the battery.
Procedure
1. Remove the two screws (M2x3) that secure the fan to the palm-rest assembly.
2. Disconnect the fan cable from the system board.
3. Peel off tape that secures the fan cable to the palm-rest assembly.
4. Lift the fan off the palm-rest assembly.
