Prerequisites
1 Remove the stand.
2 Remove the back cover.
3 Remove the system-board shield.
Procedure
1 Disconnect the fan cable from its connector on the system board.
2 Remove the three screws (M3x5) that secure the fan to the display-assembly base.
3 Lift the fan o the display-assembly base.
