Removing the display hinges
1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
2. Remove the:
a. microSD card
b. base cover
c. battery
d. WLAN card
e. DC-in cable
f. display assembly
g. LCD bezel
h. LCD panel
3. Remove the six M2.5x3.5 screws on either side securing the hinges to the back cover [1].
4. Angle the hinges and lift the hinges up and away from the back cover [2].
