Removing the power button
Prerequisites
1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
2. Remove the base cover.
3. Remove the I/O board.

Steps
1. Remove the two screws (M2x2.5) that secures the power button to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
2. Lift to remove the power button from the slot on the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
