Dell Latitude 3470 - Installing the Memory Module; Removing the Palmrest

a. Release the retention clips away from the memory module until the memory module pops up [1].
b. Disconnect the memory module from the connector to remove it from the computer [2].
Installing the memory module
1. Insert the memory module into the connector and press until the memory module clicks into the
place.
2. Install the:
a. base cover
b. battery
3. Follow the procedure in After Working Inside Your computer.
Removing the palmrest
1. Follow the procedure in Before Working Inside Your Computer.
2. Remove the:
a. battery
b. base cover
c. hard drive assembly
d. keyboard
3. Remove the screws that secure the palmrest to the computer.
