PCIe Heatsink Fan Assembly
Removing the PCIe Heatsink fan assembly
1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
2. Remove the:
a. Batteries
b. Bottom chassis cover
3. Disconnect the fan cable [1] from the system board.
4. Remove the seven 'M2.5*5' screws [2] from the heat sink pipe and loosen the three captive screws from fan case [3].
5. Remove the PCIe heatsink fan assembly from the computer [4].
6. Remove the four M2*3 screws [1] to separate the heatsink from the fan [2].
