PCIe Heatsink Fan Assembly
Removing the PCIe Heatsink fan assembly
1 Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
2 Remove the:
a Batteries
b Bottom chassis cover
3 Disconnect the fan cable [1] from the system board.
4 Remove the seven 'M2.5*5' screws [2] from the heat sink pipe and loosen the three captive screws from fan case [3].
5 Remove the PCIe heatsink fan assembly from the computer [4].
Installing the PCIe heatsink fan assembly
1 Install the PCIe heatsink fan assembly [1] in the chassis and tighten the three captive screws [2] on the fan case.
2 Install the seven 'M2.5' screws [3] on the heat sink pipe and connect the fan cable [4].
