The following images indicate the location of the M.2 2230 solid-state drive and provide a visual representation of the removal
procedure.
Steps
1. Remove the two (M2x3) screws that secure the M.2 2230 solid-state drive thermal plate to the M.2 2230 solid-state drive
holder.
2. Remove the (M2x3) screw that secure the M.2 2230 solid-state drive holder to the system board.
3. Lift the M.2 2230 solid-state drive holder off the system board.
4. Flip the M.2 2230 solid-state drive holder and remove the (M2x3) screw that secures the M.2 2230 solid-state drive to the
M.2 2230 solid-state drive holder.
5. Slide and remove the M.2 2230 solid-state drive from the M.2 2230 solid-state drive holder.
Installing the M.2 2230 solid-state drive
