Installing the M.2 Solid State Drive - SSD
NOTE
: Before installing SSD card, ensure that the battery is fully charged or the power cable is plugged in.
1 Place the SSD clip on the laptop.
2 Tighten the M2.0x3.0 screw that secures SSD clip to the laptop.
3 Insert the SSD into the socket on the laptop.
4 Place the SSD bracket and tighten the M2.0x3.0 screw (2) to secure the SSD to the laptop.
5 Install the:
a battery
b base cover
6 Follow the procedure in After working inside your computer.
Hard drive
Removing hard drive
1 Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
2 Remove the base cover.
3 Do not remove the battery, instead disconnect the battery cable from the system board.
4 To remove the hard drive:
a Disconnect the hard drive cable from the connector on the system board [1].
