Steps
1. Align and place the smart card reader on the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
2. Replace the four screws (M2x2) that secure the smart card reader to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
3. Connect the clickpad flexible flat cable to the connector (TFAD1) on the clickpad.
Next steps
1. Install the 3-cell battery or the 4-cell battery, whichever is applicable.
2. Install the speakers.
3. Install the base cover.
4. Follow the procedure in After working inside your computer.

Prerequisites
1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer..
2. Remove the base cover.
3. Remove the M.2 2230 solid-state drive.
4. Remove the 3-cell battery or the 4-cell battery, whichever is applicable.
5. Remove the heat-sink.
