624 802.1x Commands
dot1x system-auth-control
Use the dot1x system-auth-control command in Global Configuration mode
to enable 802.1x globally. To disable 802.1x globally, use the no form of this
command.
Syntax
dot1x system-auth-control
no dot1x system-auth-control
Default Configuration
The default for this command is disabled.

User Guidelines
This command has no user guidelines.
Example
The following example enables 802.1x globally.
console(config)# dot1x system-auth-control
dot1x timeout guest-vlan-period
Use the dot1x timeout guest-vlan-period command in Interface
Configuration mode to set the number of seconds that the switch waits
before authorizing the client if the client is a dot1x unaware client.
Syntax
dot1x timeout guest-vlan-period
seconds
seconds —
Time in seconds that the switch waits before authorizing the
client if the client is a dot1x unaware client.
