sntp authentication-key
Use the sntp authentication-key command in Global Configuration mode to define an
authentication key for Simple Network Time Protocol (SNTP). To remove the authentication
key for SNTP, use the no form of this command.
Syntax
sntp authentication-key key-number md5 value
no sntp authentication-key number
• key-number — number (Range: 1–4294967295)
•
value — value (Range: 1-8 characters)
Default value
No authentication is defined.

Use the sntp broadcast client enable command in Global Configuration mode to enable a
Simple Network Time Protocol (SNTP) Broadcast client. To disable an SNTP Broadcast client,
use the no form of this command.
