Removing the battery-status
light cable

NOTE: The battery-status light cable is an assembly that includes LED
indicators and a digital-array microphone.
Prerequisites
1 Remove the base cover.
2 Remove the battery.
Procedure
1 Peel o the tape that secures the battery-status light cable to the keyboard-
controls board.
2 Open the latch and disconnect the battery-status light cable from the keyboard-
controls board.
3 Peel o the tape that secures the battery-status light cable to the palm-rest
assembly.
