Remove the power-button board (see "Removing the Power-Button Board"
on page 45).

Remove the coin-cell battery (see "Removing the Coin-Cell Battery" on
page 49).

Remove the four screws that secure the top-cover assembly to the base
cover.

Turn the computer over.

Make note of the speakers cable routing.

Remove the nine screws that secure the top-cover assembly to the base
cover.

Using your fingertips, gently ease the top-cover assembly from the base
cover.

Lift the top cover assembly off the base cover.
