CAUTION: Before performing the following procedures, follow the safety
instructions in the Product Information Guide .
NOTICE: To avoid electrostatic discharge, ground yourself by using a wrist
grounding strap or by periodically touching a connector on the back panel of the
computer.
1 Follow the procedures in "Before You Begin" on page 9.
2 Remove any installed ExpressCards from the ExpressCard slot.
3 Remove the palm rest (see "Palm Rest" on page 49).
4 Remove the three screws that secure the 8-in-1 memory card reader to the
computer base.
