NOTICE: To avoid electrostatic discharge, ground yourself by using a wrist
grounding strap or by periodically touching a connector on the back panel of the
computer.

Follow the procedures in "Before You Begin" on page 9.

Remove the palm rest (see "Palm Rest" on page 49).

Remove the card with internal bluetooth
®
wireless technology (see
"Removing the Card With Bluetooth
®
Wireless Technology" on page 13).

Remove the consumer infrared board (see "Removing the Consumer
Infrared Board" on page 71).
5
Remove the two screws that secure the power management controller to
the computer base.
