10.3 Customising the "my coee" quantity
The appliance is set by default to automatically deliver 30ml of
"my coee". To modify this quantity, proceed as follows:
1. Place a cup under the coee spouts (A14) (g. 9);
2. Turn the selection dial (B2) (g. 7) until "MY COFFEE" is
displayed;
3. Press and hold the button (B7) (g. 10) until the
message "1 MY COFFEE Program quantity" appears on the
display (B1) and coee delivery begins. Then release the
button;
4. As soon as the coee in the cup reaches the required level,
press the button (g. 10) again.
The quantity of coee in the cup has now been programmed.
10.4 Adjusting the coee mill
The coee mill is set by default to prepare coee correctly and
should not require regulating initially.
However, if after making the rst few coees you nd that the
coee is either too weak and not creamy enough or delivery is
too slow (a drop at a time), this can be corrected by adjusting
the grinding adjustment dial (A2) (g. 11).
Please note:
The grinding adjustment dial must only be turned when the
coee mill is in operation.
If the coee is delivered too slowly or
not at all, turn one click clockwise to-
wards 7.
For fuller bodied creamier coee, turn
one click anticlockwise towards 1 (do
not turn more than one click at a time
otherwise the coee could be deliv-
ered a drop at a time).
These adjustments will only be evident after at least 2 cups of
coee have been delivered. If this adjustment does not obtain
the desired result, turn the dial another click.
10.5 Tips for a hotter coee
For hotter coee, you should:
• perform a rinse cycle before delivery by pressing the
button (B5), as described in section “10. making coee”;
• warm the cups with hot water using the hot water function
(see section “12. Hot water”);
• select the "high" coee temperature in the menu (see sec-
tion “8.8 Setting the temperature”).
