GENERAL INFORMATION
1.
Wheel nuts should be torqued to 100Nm
(70 LB FT). The wheel nuts should be
tightened alternately to the correct torque.
2.
Never use oil or grease on the studs or nuts.
Improperly tightened nuts could eventually
allow the wheel to come off, while the car is
moving,
causing loss of control.
3. Tyres should be checked at regular intervals,
for tread depth and external cuts in the fabric,
exposure of ply or cord structure, lumps or
bulges.
4.
It is essential that the wheel and tyre
assembly are balanced regularly and that the
geometry (tracking) is checked as
recommended in the Steering Section (H).
