CRANKSHAFT
The service
crankshaft
is not fitted with the clutch
shaft spigot bearing. The spigot bearing must be
inserted if the engine is mated to a manual
gearbox.
It
is bonded in: smear the outside of
the bearing with loctite. (Fig.
8)
Components which must be cnanged at each
dismantling.
Flywheel fixing bolts.
Convenor
driving plate fixing bolts.
Big-end cap nuts.
CYLINDER NUMBERING IN EACH BANK
The bank comprising cylinders 1. 2, and 3 is
aesignated the L.H. bank or group and that for
cylinders 4, 5, and 6 the R.H. bank or group. Fig. 9
