Connecting Delphi XM SKYFi
to Your Vehicle With an FM
Modulator
Connect the red (+) lead to the vehicle
12V power terminal, which is powered
when the ignition is in the accessory
position.
The 12V power connecting cord is
permanently connected for SKYFi
FM
modulation.
The SKYFi name, XM name, and related logos
are trademarks of XM Satellite Radio Inc.

FM Modulator Ground Connection

Connect the FM modulator ground terminal to the vehicle ground before making any other connections.

12V Power Connection

Connect the red (+) lead to the vehicle 12V power terminal, which is powered when the ignition is in the accessory position.

Operating the FM Modulator

Turning on the FM Modulator

The FM modulator is always on in standby when the ignition is in the accessory position.

Changing the Transmitting Frequency

Allows changing the XM Satellite Radio broadcast signal to an FM frequency for output to your vehicle radio.

FM Antenna Connection Note

FM antenna connector may need an adapter; some systems require active bias for AM antennas.
