PREPARING A GALÃO - CAPPUCCINO
Milk tank
Note: Rinse the milk tank thoroughly before reusing it.
• Pour milk into the milk tank according to the desired amount (see Fig. 19).
Note: To obtain a perfect milk foam use semi-skimmed milk at the
refrigerator temperature.
• Cover the milk tank with the lid.
• Connect the milk tank to the milk system (see Fig. 20).
• Raise the lever to its full extent and insert a Delta Q coee capsule in
the capsule housing hole, in accordance with the housing silhouette.
Completely lower the lever
(see Fig. 9).
• Lower the cup tray and place a glass of galão (black coee and 3/4
milk) or a Cappuccino cup (with capacity exceeding 190cc) under the
extraction nozzle.
• Adjust the selector to the Galão or Cappuccino position according to
the desired beverage (see Fig. 21).
• Press the Milk-based beverage button (see Fig. 22).
Note: For Galão, the beverage preparation starts as follows (first the
coee, followed by a brief pause, and then the milk).
For Cappuccino, the beverage preparation starts as follows (first the milk
foam and then the coee).
• You are recommended to lift the lever again at the end of the extraction
process to release the capsule into the used capsule tank.
Lower the lever into its resting position.
Note: In order for the milk system to operate perfectly, It must be rinsed
and cleaned after each use (see page 84 ).
