5. Description of Filter Series, Applications and Operations/
Beschreibung der Filterserie, Anwendungen und Funktionen.
5.1 CND Series Separator
(1/2” and ¾”)
MECHANICAL CYCLONE SEPARATOR
* Can handle large liquid loads
* Removes more than 95% of liquid water in
compressed air
* Removes all solid particles 10 microns and
larger
Application:
Use as a separator downstream of
compressors and aftercoolers
Operation:
Air enters the inside of the cartridge CND and
flows outwardly
through the separator core, a pair of
permanent, stainless steel tubes. Here large
liquid loads are removed by centrifugal action
and inertial impaction.

* Kann große Flüssigkeitslasten handhaben
* Entfernt mehr als 95% des flüssigen Wassers
in Druckluft
* Entfernt feste Partikel 10 Mikrometer und
größer
Applikation:
Einsatz als Abscheider nach Kompressoren
und Nachkühlern
Funktionsweise:
Luft tritt in das Innere der Patrone CND ein
und strömt nach außen durch den
Separatorkern, ein Paar permanenter,
Edelstahl Röhren. Hier werden große
Flüssigkeitsbelastungen durch
Zentrifugalwirkung und Trägheitsaufprall
entfernt.

(1” to 3”)

Application:
Use as a separator downstream of
compressors and aftercoolers
Operation:
Compressed air enters through inlet and
rotates around specially shaped propeller like
blades. With the help of centrifugal force and
impact on the filter housing large liquid loads
are removed.

* Entfernt mehr als 95% des flüssigen Wassers

* Entfernt alle festen Partikel 10 Mikrometer
und größer
Applikation:
Einsatz als Abscheider nach Kompressoren
und Nachkühlern
Funktionsweise:
Druckluft tritt durch den Einlass ein und rotiert
um speziell geformter Propeller wie Blätter. Mit
Hilfe der Zentrifugalkraft und Aufprall auf das
Filtergehäuse werden große
Flüssigkeitsbelastungen entfernt.
