A defective or worn-out accelerator pump could also be the culprit, often due to bad or dirty gas, vacuum leaks, or ignition issues, so consider replacing it. Lastly, check the float level and set it to factory specifications; the factory setting with the air horn upside down is 1.01”+/- .015” from the cast surface to the bottom of the float.
