This function automatically arranges CD tracks to be recorded
matching to your tape length. And the auto spacing function
inserts a 4-second unrecorded interval between songs. You do not
have to worry about the playing time when recording from CDs.
Loading a tape in TAPE 2
NOTE: Set the tape running direction to “> ” with Side A
facing toward you.
Selecting the desired disc
@ Repeatedly press [ DISC ] on the remote control or on the
front panel to select the desired disc in the CD tray.
Selecting the playing time of your tape
1-a. With the set in CD stop mode, repeatedly press [ A. EDIT]
on the remote control to get the playing time of your tape in
the display. For example, if you use a 60-minute tape,
select C-60.
1-b. When using a tape other than C-46, C-60 or C-90 (for
example C-54)}, get "C--- in the display first and enter its
playing time "54" by pressing the number buttons of the
remote control.
. Then the set will show you the track numbers to be
recorded and a remainder time of the tape (©) as “A FILE”
(for the Side A of the tape), then “b FILE” (for the Side B of
the tape). Lastly, the unit will indicate the last track number
(®) and the total number of tracks to be recorded (@).
NOTE: To cancel the Auto Edit recording, press the CD stop
button [™} on the remote control or [ STOP/CLEAR ] on
the front panel.
To start recording
3. Press twice [@/™] on the remote control or [REC/
PAUSE] On the front panel. Then the tape deck: will
start recording after automatically rewinding the tape to its
beginning and/or skipping its leader tape.
NOTE: The tape deck will erase the tape remainder of Side A
before starting to record "b FILE" onto the Side B of the
tape.
CONTINUOUS EDIT RECORDING
You can record from more than one disc onto one tape.
4, When the last track of the disc has been recorded in the
Auto Edit recording, both the CD player and tape deck stop
and the Continuous Edit indicator “CONT” (@) appears in
the display. Replace the disc with another one. Then the
unit arranges tracks to be recorded onto the remainder of
the tape.
5, Repeatedly press [ DISC } on the remote control, or press
[| DISC ] of the desired number on the front panel. Then
press [ A.EDIT ] on the remote control to arrange tracks to
be recorded onto the remainder of the tape.
NOTE: You can replace discs with new ones by pressing the
[ & OPEN/CLOSE } button. In this case, the unit automatically
Starts arranging tracks when the CD tray is closed.
6-a, Press [P/Il] onthe remote control or[ PLAY/PAUSE ] on
the front panel to start Continuous Edit recording.
NOTE: Pressing [@/II} or [REC/PAUSE] cannot start
Continuous Edit Recording.
6-b, When the tape remainder is not enough for recording any
track of the disc, “no FILE” appears in the display. In this
case, try a different disc, or press the cassette deck stop
button [if] on the remote controt or on the front panel to
cancel the Continuous Edit recording.
To stop Auto Edit recording
7. Press the cassette deck stop button [lJ] on the remote
control or on the front panel.
NOTE: When you press the CD player stop button [™ ] onthe
remote control or [ STOP/CLEAR ] on the front panel, the
Auto Edit recordingis cancelled, butthe tape deck becomes
recording stand-by status atter having inserted 4-second
unrecorded interval. Press the cassette deck stop button
[Mj on the remote control or on the front panel if you want
to cancel the recording stand-by status.
NOTE ABOUT AUTO EDIT RECORDING:
if a disc has more than 16 tracks, the Auto Edit recording
function accepts only from the first track to 16th track.

Wahlen der gewiinschten CD
@. Wiederhoit die Taste [ DISC ] am Fembedienungsteil oder an der
Frontplatte driicken, um die gewlinschte CD im CD-Fach zu
wahlen.
Auswahl der Wiedergabezeit Jhres Cassettenbandes
1-a. Driicken Siewiederholtdie[ A.EDIT } Taste aufder Fembedienung,
wahrend sich die Anlage im CD Stopp-Modus befindet, um die
Wiedergabezeit ihres Cassettenbandes im Display anzuzeigen.
Wenn Sie z.B. ein 60-Minuten Cassettenband verwenden, wahlen
Sie C-60.
t+b. Wenn Sie ein anderes Cassettenband als C46, C-60 oder C-90
verwenden (z.B. C-54), lassen Sie sich zuerst “C--” im Display
anzeigen und geben Sie dann die Wiedergabezeit des von Ihnen
verwendeten Cassettenbandes ein, indem Siedie entsprechenden
Zifferntasten auf der Fembedienung driicken.
2. Dann zeigt Ihnen das Gerat die Titelnummem, die aufgenommen
werden, und die Restzeit des Bandes (1) an: zuerst “A FILE” (fir
Seite A des Cassettenbandes), dann “b FILE” (far Seite B des
Cassettenbandes). Als letztes zeigt Ihnen das Geratdann die letzte
Titelnummer (@) und die Gesamtanzahl aller Titel an, die
aufgenommen werden (@)).
HINWEIS: Um die automatische Editier-Auinahme aufzuheben,
driicken Sie die CD-Stopptaste [™ ] auf der Fernbedienung oder
betdtigen Sie [ STOP/CLEAR ] an der Frontplatte.
‘Starten der Aufnahme
3. Driicken Sie zweima! [ @/ I] auf der Fembedienung oder { REC/
PAUSE] an der Frontplatte. Das Cassettendeck startet dann
mit der Auinahme, nachdem das Cassettenband automatisch an
seinen Anfang zurlickgespult worden ist, unc/oder nach dem
Uberspringen des Filhrungsbandes.
HINWEIS: Das Cassettendeck \éscht das restliche Band von Seite A,
bevor es mit der Aufnahme des "b FILE” aut die Seite B des
Cassettenbandes beginnt.
DAUEREDITIER-AUFNAHME
‘Siekénnenvonmehralsnureiner Platte aufein Cassettenbandauinehmen.
4, Wennderletzte sichaufeiner CD befindliche Titelimautomatischen
Editier-Modus aufgenommen worden ist, stoppen sowohl der CD-
Spieler als auch das Cassettendeck und die Anzeige fir die
Dauereditierung “CONT” (@) erscheint im Display. Tauschen Sie
die CD gegen eine andere CD aus. Dann ordnetdas Gerat die Titel,
die aufgenommen werden, auf dem noch verbleibenden Restband
an.
5. Drlicken Siemehrmals[ DISC JanderFernbedienungoderdricken
Sie[ DISC }dergewiinschten Nummer an der Frontpiatte. Drlicken
‘Siedann[ A.EDIT JanderFembedienung, umdie Titel fir Aumahme
auf dem restlichen Band anzuordnen,
HINWEIS: Sie knnen CDs gegen andere auswechseln, indem Sie
die Offnen’SchlieBen-Taste [| & OPEN/CLOSE] driicken. In diesem
Fail ordnet das Gerat autornatisch die Titel an, wenn das CD-Fach
geschlossen wird.
6-a. Driicken Sie [ /H ] auf der Fernbedienung oder [ PLAY/PAUSE ]
an der Frontplatte, um die Dauereditier-Aufnahme zu starten.
HINWEIS: Durch Betatigung von [ @/ Fl] auf der Fernbedienung oder
[RECPANSE | kanndie Dauereditier-Aufnahmenichtgestartet
6-b. Wenn das noch verbleibende Restband nicht ausreicht, um alle
TitelderCD aufzunehmen, erscheint “no FILE”im Display. Probieren
‘Sie in einem derartigen Fall eine andere CD aus oder driicken Sie
[ Ml JaufderFembedienungoder[ STOP/CLEAR JanderFrontplatte,
um die Dauereditier-Autnahme aufzuheben,
Stoppen der automatischen Editier-Aufnahme
7. Driicken Sie (Ill ] auf der Fembedienung oder Stopptaste an der
Frontplatte.
HINWEIS: Wenn Sie [MM] auf der Fernbedienung oder [ STOP/
CLEAR] an der Frontpiatte dricken, wird der Modus far die
automatische Editier-Aufnahme aufgehoben; das Cassettendeck
‘setzt sich jedoch in den Aufnahme-Standby-Modus, nachdem eine
4Sekundeniange Leerstelie gingefligt wordenist. Dricken Sie[ ll ]
auf der Fernbedienung oder Stopptaste an der Frontplatte, wenn
Sie den Aufnahme-Standby-Modus aufheben méchten.
HINWEIS ZUR AUTOMATISCHEN EDITIER-AUFNAHME:
‘Wenn sich auf einer Platte mehr als 16 Titel befinden, funktioniert die
automatische Editier-Aufnahme nur vom ersten bis zum sechzehnten
Titel. 31
